The Rod and Reel pier is located on Anna Maria Island. It was built in 1947 but sadly was heavily damaged by Hurricane Helene in September. Just two weeks later, Hurricane Milton washed away what was left. A​nna Maria Island, in Manatee County, is a 7 mile long barrier island located on the West Coast of Florida. It's made up of the cities of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach.
