Are you joining us at Groundswell 2022? I am very proud to be curating and chairing a session on 'regenerative sourcing'. As hospitality eyes up the regenerative agriculture space, it's incredibly important that we explore, together, what 'regenerative sourcing' could mean. For me, it should begin with all stakeholders committing to a fairer sharing of ecological, social and economic risks and rewards in the food system. So what will this look like? This panel will hear from Bronwen Percival of Neal’s Yard Dairy Tom Calver of Westcombe Cheddar Chantelle Nicholson of Apricity Harry Dyer of Shrubs Provision How they are doing things differently and with me, what are the collective opportunities and challenges for the producing, wholesale, retail and restaurant industries to work with the farming industry to transition into agroecology together. Our planet is being exploited at an unprecedented rate. Global and local food security - access, availability, stability and utilisation, are impacted by (human-caused) environmental and socioeconomic changes. WE need collective actions to defend everyone's rights to nutritional and culturally appropriate food produced in ways that are ecologically and socially mindful, and, to reclaim our agriculture and food systems.
