Let me just get something very straight. The only thing I’m saying is I wasn’t paid honestly. I’m not talking about anything else. What @drinkmarcel decide to bring up in their comments has nothing to do with what I am focusing on and standing by. In our agreement I was made aware that I would be paid further upon sales and I haven’t, facts. I am not a vindictive person, nor would I ever purposefully try to hurt a brand or another person. I go into these deals with the best interests for everyone otherwise I wouldn’t waste my time. The truth of the matter is, this is my art, I created this from nothing. I worked in the streets for many years selling my art, I lived day to day, I was broke and really understood what it was like to struggle and I will fight for what is right, as would anyone in my position. Ive been sent images of my work by people who are showing their support, which I am very appreciative of, but I felt as though something wasn’t right and reached out to Marcel to discuss monies owed based on the agreement. The wine would appear in @Costco , @wholefoods and other places. I would only know of this through social media. People would congratulate me, but I wasn’t seeing anything in reward neither was I being made aware by @drinkmarcel that these sales/deals were happening. These are also moments for me, my art and my hard work as well. My name is not mentioned on the bottle, but people know it’s my work. I am not tagged on social media, but people still know it’s my work. In answer to many questions, yes there are lawyers involved and I’ve tried for many months to resolve these issues in private but without any resolution. In result I do not want anything to do with Marcel moving forward and they refuse to honour that fairly which is why I have taken to this platform to share my experience. There are many artists, professionals and creators out there who may feel my frustration, but what I will say is never give up, fight for what is right, use your voice, trust your intuition and know your worth.
