How can I explain it.. This is my second book. It’s amazing how slippery time is. Two books in a span of days describing different moments and impulses in my practice. I am blessed period. The book “heaven is a muddy riverbed,” is catalog of works revolves around my use of catfish, there is marvelous writing by my continual interlocutor Derrick Austin, my dear sweet friend and multi-hyphenate TK Smith, and curator of the Craft Contemporary Holly Jerger.
