We call Suguroi our wildcard, because she is constantly on guard, ears spread wide and ready to charge. However, the addition of some very young orphans to our Nursery herd has revealed Suguroi‘s nurturing side. Our feisty girl has really stepped up as an honorary big sister, looking after Mzinga and Nyambeni with surprising sensitivity. Of course, she is still a force of nature — even here, her ears hold a hint of flare/flair! — but it’s lovely to see Suguroi ‘at ease’ with her little friends.
