our colorful wedding morning surrounded by our family and friends, lots of laughs, hugs, and pure happiness ♥️ After getting ready, I shared a first look with my brother and dad! I also chose to do a first look with Kevin to have a quiet moment together, share private vows, and take in this whole day. The best decision Kevin and I made for our wedding was hiring our wedding planner Louise @love_letter_weddings — because her and her team handled every single element of this wedding, it allowed me to play with the all the small details that really made this wedding feel like *US* My time during wedding planning was spent dreaming up fun customized projects instead of worrying about rentals, vendors, etc. You can see quite a few of my DIYs here that I’ll go into more detail in later! This is only the beginning 🤭 - I made my cathedral length veil 👰🏻‍♀️ and embroidered our initials and wedding date to the edge - embroidered handkerchiefs for my mom and dad, as well as Kevin’s parents - needlepoint cufflinks for my dad which include his nicknames for me and my brother (DJ and Joy) - handmade vow books for me and Kevin Please ask alllll the questions about the wedding, DIYs, planning a destination wedding, etc!!!
