First, chose an exfoliant that suits your skin type : AHAs for dry skin, BHAs for oily acne prone skin, mild exfoliants with low concentrations for sensitive skin. I picked the 2% BHA and 8% AHA from Isntree, I have sensitive skin and they both suit me and didn't cause any irritation (Only use one of them at a time) Then, you need a complete routine to cleanse, hydrate, repair and protect your skin. The essential products you need are a cleanser, a moisturizer and a sunscreen, the rest are so beneficial but not necessary. I have recommended some that worked for me in this Reel. Lastly, remember to not over do it. Only exfoliate 2-3 times a week even if you love how your skin looks after exfoliating, because you might over exfoliate and compromise your skin barrier, and therefore cause more skin problems!
