Do not order a latte, unless you want to receive a glass of milk. 5. Don’t use the strongly stereotypical Italian accent you hear in American movies if you are English-speaking. They are wrong. You could piss people off. 6. Don’t gesture randomly by mimicking the way you speak Italian, unless you want to look like an ignorant idiot. The more you stay in Italy, the more you will understand the different gestures related to our country and, therefore, mastering them will be easy since the Italians will teach them to you. 7. Don’t pee on the streets or in the fountains especially in Rome. 8. Don’t mark your name on ancient monuments, columns, churches or statues. 9.
