MY WEDDING GLAM MAKEUP 🕊 For my wedding makeup I knew I wanted something simple. I feel most like myself with natural makeup as I don’t wear much day to day. My brief to Zoe was peachy cheeks, no eyeshadow, just bronzer through my crease, lashes only on the outer half of my eyes and a brown lip liner with a gloss over the top and she absolutely nailed that 🥰 My dress was really simple so I wanted to keep everything as true to myself as possible and not do anything I never would usually wear as I will look back at these photos for years to come. HAIR 🕊 I knew I wanted my hair out for my wedding hair as I don’t usually wear upstyles for special occasions. The only detail of my dress was the top part, because my hair is so long, if I had my hair over both my shoulders, I would have been covering up the detail of my dress. So Kym and I decided to do one side forward over my shoulder and one side off the shoulder to show the top part of my dress. Because my dress was strapless, it would have looked really nice with all my hair off my shoulders but I feel more myself with my hair out. I asked for a soft big polished wave, but without it being too structured and no texture. Kym did such an incredible job, I loved how my hair turned out, it was exactly how I imagined! 🤎 My advice has always been, to not try anything new for your wedding day. It’s easy to become influenced by the images we see on Instagram and Pinterest of these incredible hair styles and makeup looks but if you wouldn’t usually wear that any other day of the year, your wedding day isn’t the time to try it. It’s so easy to see all these beautiful weddings online and wanting to try something different to stand out. I couldn’t have felt more myself on the day & I am SO grateful for Zoe & Kym for listening and executing what I asked for on the day, I know I will always look back at my wedding photos without any regrets. 🤎
