💙Lucky is definitely having a lot more fun at the vet than most dogs🥰🙏🏼 I feel like the importance of a sick or injured animal’s comfort level when getting medical care is SO underrated these days!!! Going to the vet is a very scary experience for dogs who have been neglected their entire life and have no idea what they’re walking into🥺 At so many places we’ve been to, everything seems so robotic and lacking empathy🤦🏼‍♀️ We’re SO beyond thankful for the amazing staff @picovethospital for always making time for small acts of kindness like a pup cup, a plush toy, hanging out in the office allowing our dogs to see humans helping rather than hurting fellow animals and so much more to make our furry friends actually consider the vet a positive experience❤️❤️❤️ As for his medical condition... his bloodwork came back normal and his fecal test was clean. He is currently on a refeeding schedule to put some healthy weight on without any complications. He is now scheduled for surgery to put his neck back together, get him neutered and off to his loving foster home with @janelle_karta 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone who has supported this baby.
