Beastie Boi. 102cmx70cm 💧 My new show... SUSPENDED EMBRACE has been a journey through time. Time way back when life seemed so darn simple. Lost on wintery beach on a reef stretching as far as you could see, crabs scurry to avoid a child’s proding, jelly fish float like the know all the answers. Squid ink all over the place! The mystery and sombreness of a shark egg... how tf do they lay them??? And where is it’s Mum??? 😬Rock pools big enough to wade and swim through, healthy strong gardens under the sea....sway and dance creatures duck and smoothly adjust themselves from darting limbs. It feels intensely alive, timeless, the joy of being mystified and lost in rapture. That’s what my next show is paying homage to. .... being totally lost in wonder and never for a second needing or wanting to be found.🌊 and as you put the crab you caught back under the exact same rock , there was ignorant bliss that this ocean was and always would be perfect.☺️🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀 @nandahobbs 29th September
