MEDICAL RETIREMENT It is never easy to be told that the best thing to do for your long term health is to walk away from the sport you love. My athletic career that has spanned over the past 12 years has been plagued with injury. I always thought it was just part of the process and everything would work out in the end, but this time it was different. I am thankful for all the opportunities I have had in these past 12 years, but especially these past couple ones. All of the friends and family I have made and all the support I never thought I would have has truly been amazing. Special thanks to @mstueve for everything she has done for me through this process. I know God has bigger and better things in store for me. On to the chapter in my life.
