Let’s explore the intersection between environmental justice and fair access to healthcare 🌍💚 In many communities across CA, those disproportionately affected by corporate pollution often can’t afford the high-cost prescriptions for related health issues. That’s why I want to raise awareness about @yesonprop34 - an initiative to make prescription drug costs more affordable. Lowering these costs is crucial to ensure patients can focus on their health rather than worrying about affordability. The quest for planetary healing towards a regenerative, planet-positive future for all is contingent on addressing the many interlinking challenges and themes tied to environmental justice - however, no progress can be made without addressing the need for equitable access to healthcare in tandem with environmental initiatives and adequate policy development!
