🤍 wan·der·lust /ˈwändərˌləst/ noun a strong desire to travel. "a woman consumed by wanderlust" . I have always had a bad case of wanderlust. This morning it was particularly vibrant. Adventuring, traveling, wandering, walking is core to who I am. To satisfy that overwhelming craving these days I have been looking to adventure books, old photos of past trips and taking daily micro adventures - going down a new street on my walk, getting lost. Perhaps the biggest adventure is refining my concept of wanderlust / travel / adventure. My new understanding is: to try new things each day with no destination or goal, just a wild, undisciplined, lusty, extravagant curiosity > the harmonica, new tea, eating fasting more, speaking out, sleeping in, beach fishing, writing another book, and pausing through out the day to take it all in.
