I’m trippin’! The day got away from me. We had good church and celebrated my Daddy @bishopdrewsheard! Daddy you’ve been my standard, my first example of a man, and I love you so much. You’ve taught me loyalty, kindness, what it means to have vision and ambition, management skills, integrity, punctuality (still working on that), ways of worship, love, ministry, the gospel, legacy, family values, financial literacy, and so much more. You’ve taught me that I can be who I am and to never discount myself but to stay at full price— the value of myself. My tough skin comes from you being my father. I’m sincerely grateful for all of your lessons, your love, and your presence. You’ve been vulnerable, with family, yet secure. You’ve shown me that it’s possible for a man to have emotions and remain a pillar and priest of their home. You’ve shown me what “considering it all” looks like and you’ve given me a chance to have the best daddy- daughter experience. You’re diplomatic and an outstanding leader. My first time hearing God audibly, was like the experience of Samuel and Eli. God used your voice to get my attention. That says a lot. I’m so grateful the Lord gave me you as my Daddy. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thank you for showing me what a father looks like. Your attentiveness, no matter where you are, has shown me the essence of priorities. Thank you for making your family a priority, for loving and committing to my mommy, and loving and committing to your family. Your submission to God is beyond admirable. Your commitment to serving others, is inspiring. Thank you for keeping your word. I love you so much and I am so grateful for your life. Happy Birthday!
