You would never believe what our farm looked like just 6 years ago. After decades of intensive conventional potato farming, the soil was sandy dirt that was nearly depleted of any nutrients. Today, we’re seeing perennial grasses re-established, 30+ species of grasses, forbs, legumes, wildflowers, and tons of wildlife including insects.
