Film by Alee. I used to use this space as a place to be transparent, but have found myself taking many steps backwards. I don’t like the illusion of perfection social media platforms give off. We are stuck in a filtered reality. Recently I’ve struggled with my health immensely, and it reminds me to appreciate the moments when all is well. I’m grateful for my friends and family who have come through in ways I never felt deserving of. I’m realizing the importance of taking care of yourself even when you feel like you can’t. There’s layers to life, not everything is what it seems.
