Someone said that @groundswell_agriculture is the Glastonbury of farming events. I've not been to Glastonbury, but I've been to many corporate events supposedly about fixing our food and planetary systems. None of which, people laughed, hugged, and kissed as much as at Groundswell 2022! Many great moments. Meeting a retired farmer and telling him how incredibly amazing her daughter @franbaileypr is, Daddy Bailey gushing next to @chef_chantelle. Seeing @wing_mon @wakelynsbakery @karen.biggie @dearsafia connecting farmers with millers and chefs, and feeding the crowd with their amazing breads and cookies. Kissing Dee @osunschild after missing out on her hugs for more than two years. Ooo ahhing when Tom cut into the @westcombedairy. I might have said a few naughty things. Gatecrashing the 80th birthday party for John Medley, the founder of @pastureforlife. Watching Angus @ourisles signed his book next to Dan Saladino and fashioned braces and shorts. Listening to @thomasinamiers asking why the Gov isn't taxing ultra-processed food with @cathystgermans and @rose__brookfield . Sharing a shade with Max Fraser, whom with Freddie Yauner brought an art installation about the extinction of pollinators to Groundswell. Enjoying the most fabulous spread @happytummyco @chicpfood @ki.kefir and many more at the big tent and at @ssaw.collective supper. Welcoming new friends and sharing so many great moments with old friends and new friends, and still feeling lots of regrets for not being able to say hi to so many friends!!!
