As @son_lux gears up to head overseas for our first time in three years, I’m feeling thankful to be able to make music in a situation of such deep trust, where songs breathe and bloom differently under the conditions of each performance, as an outgrowth of the present moment. @ryanlottmusic and @ianyhchang are my teachers and I look forward to discovering this next phase in the evolution of these songs together. I’m also deep in the middle of another love affair with the guitar and am excited to keep exploring all of these directions, from grounding the low end energy to singing with a fraying intensity or approximating the ricochet of raindrops from an oncoming storm.
