Love that they’re re-airing Betty White’s SNL episode tonight as a tribute. It was one of my favorite episodes ever when I was a newer writer on the show. Got to write CSI: Sarasota and a Scared Straight with Betty White in a prison uniform that I never thought she’d do. I remember Betty had a vodka soda right before the show which seemed pretty bad-ass (and dangerous?) for a 90-year-old about to do a live sketch show. And even then it was so cool that Jay-Z sang “Young Forever” on the Betty White show. RIP to one of the best hosts ever.
