In honor of Paul McCartney‘s 80th birthday, here is an interesting cover of “Blackbird” I did about 10 years ago. A lot of people have heard me tell the story of how when I first heard “Blackbird” when I was 14 or 15 that was one of the main reasons I wanted to play guitar. I was obsessed to get that song “Down”. Even to this day, years later, when I pickup a guitar, “Blackbird” is the first thing I play.
