Papa’s got a brand new Bagworm 🐛🐛🐛 Behind the buggery: A few yrs ago I was chillin at the airport when I saw a pine cone inching its way towards me. Upon closer inspection I saw it was actual a little bug lugging around some sticks, and thanks to @cronkartco I discovered my new obsession, the Bagworm. I’ve since made looks (like the trash gown) inspired by the concept of the Bagworm, seeing as it’s a bug that builds a little cocoon out of the surrounding environment. But for this reveal runway I wanted to go full bagworm and do a dissection instead of a transformation. Thanks to @mzboogie for taking my design and translating it beautifully into this suede spectacle, as well as taking a risk on the shell and magnetized slime gown reveal (even though I couldn’t get it right). Also shout out to @whitcorp_labs for the genius design and fabrication of this beetle reveal mask. I was glueing sticks and painting the mask in my hotel room until the day we finally did this runway, so ultimately this was such an ambitious idea that I wish I had more time for it. 📸 by @finnjames666
