The first time I attended @sundanceorg film festival, I knew that I’d have no choice but to try to attend every year following. And one pandemic year aside, I succeeded. I’ve read so many farewell to Park City posts penned as goodbyes to Sundance itself. But it will continue! We will turn up to Boulder. We will gather early for screenings and stay up too late at a TAO pop-up talking about them. I was honored to go this year, and to indulge in so many curious cinematic experiences. I’ve been writing about them in @surfacemag’s Design Dispatch! Two more to come. I’m also grateful for the years of Sundance coverage I did for @lilahramzi and @voguemagazine. Here are some photos from over the years. Unfortunately, there aren’t many photos from my earliest years (except one strange selfie and one capture of @mybrightestdiamond). Though the lack of documentation has made those first memories stronger.
