Life with you is blissful. You’re absolutely the most kind person I’ve ever known & if you don’t believe me I can think of a wild number of people who would agree. You are easily one of the smartest people I’ve ever known even tho you’re kinda a “know it all” ;) You make getting older feel strangely like getting younger. We’ve shared so many experienced & tasted/explored so much of the world together. There is no one else I’d rather stand next to in those moments. Without you idk if I would have had the courage take on some of the things we’ve chosen to take on during our time together. You’ve brought out the best in me all these years and you’ve also somehow brought out some seriously nerdy stuff that I am REALLY grateful to have discovered. When life gets tough you’re so quick to act compassionate, loving, & careful with my feelings. It’s a super power that I’ve grown to envy. You are my inspiration. You can’t help but care tirelessly about the well being of others whether it’s family, friends, strangers, & mostly dogs. You’re the first person to offer your seat up for anyone if there isn’t enough room. It’s who you are in this life. You’ve expanded my love for food well passed the fast food I grew up on & even though I drank the crappy old rancid wine in the fridge that one night by myself & enjoyed it you didn’t break up with me so that’s cool. You have no ego in this relationship. You believe in me in a way that actually helps me believe in myself. You never gave up on me even on days that I’ve thrown in the towel. You’re my partner but to explain exactly how much you mean to me would be hard because what I feel for you is far beyond words at this point. It’s a look, it’s a laugh, it’s the way you say things not what you say. It’s the feeling I get when I wake up next to you & the way the weight feels lifted almost instantly when I see you at the end of the day. The universe confuses me sometimes & I don’t quite have an explanation for most of things that have happened to me in my life. But meeting you is something I’ll be indebted to forever. I love you.
