my heart is filled with gratitude, love, excitement & peace; I got to compete alongside 77 beautiful women and managed to place top 15 at the Miss Massachusetts USA 2022 pageant. I’m beyond proud to have worn MEDFORD across my body, the city I moved to when migrating from Brasil back in 2009; I stood on that stage not just as one but as every single English Language Learner and Immigrant student from my city. I also got to wear the green from my beautiful Brazilian flag representing our rich amazon forest. Pageantry has given me amazing friends, and it has taught me to always show up as my best version, to work extremely hard, to stay focused on my goals and dreams and stand up and fight for my community, and to give voice to the voiceless. To my beautiful friend @skarletmramirez, congratulations! YOU DID!! You are so beautiful inside and out, you have worked extremely hard for this title, and I know you will represent our beautiful state so well! Daleeee Dominicana!! Tamo ACTIVO!
