I graduated a little more than two weeks ago now. It was 6 years of my life. I was a Resident Assistant for 5 of those years. I was in the Acting Conservatory for 4 of those years. I was in the Theatre and Performance program for 2 of those years. My journey at Purchase was beautiful, messy, romantic, chaotic, magical, gross, revealing, transformative, wonderful, adventurous, challenging, frustrating, backbreaking, healing, and most of all, it was full. It was everything it needed to be, even if it wasn't everything I wished. The people I met along the way made it so much more valuable than I ever could have imagined. Whether you are a part of Company 46 or in the Theatre and Performance program or in the Dance conservatory or a coworker of mine at OCE, Everyone who was ever a part of that community with me, you all helped build my heart and keep it well.
