Had the pleasure to create the Artwork for this amazing collaboration *Repost* Black Blossoms School of Art and Culture x Art on the Underground A NEW SERIES OF FREE ONLINE COURSES * We are delighted to announce the first in a new series of online short courses curated and delivered by Black Blossoms School of Art and Culture, free and open to all! @blackblossoms.online The courses will expand on the ideas explored in the artworks and practices of the artists working with @artontheunderground throughout 2022, these include @joylabinjo, @larryachiampong, @rheastorr and @shantipanchal. The first course, 'Art and Activism in the Age of Black Girl Magic' will focus on themes present in Joy Labinjo's Art on the Underground commission at Brixton station, '5 more minutes,' her pocket Tube map cover, 'Twist Out', and in dialogue with other modern and contemporary artworks by Black women and Black non-binary artists.
