On November 9th, @scotus_blog will hear challenges against ICWA and are poised to get rid of it. Getting rid of ICWA would take away a tribes’ right to have a say in the removal of Native children. —————————————— Many Native children are taken from their homes and are forced to forget and reject their culture and adopt the Christian faith by the white families they are placed with by private adoption agencies and state welfare offices. —————————————— Petition and link to more info about ICWA is in my bio.
