The rehearsal room set for ‘MJ’ @mjthemusical is all about transformations. A large windowed space undergoes a series of changes, some small and some big, disassembling and reassembling as it works its way through flashbacks and fantasies, always returning to the rehearsal room. Practically every inch of the set can light up, and every bit of architecture is a projection surface, and my collaborators lighting designer @katzlites and projection designer @peternigrini make brilliant use of them.
