Three days left to bid on a guitar that was generously donated by renowned guitarist Pete Thorn. After recently touring with Five for Fighting and learning of SOA’s collaboration with John Ondrasik in the filming of “Can One Man Save the World” featuring the Ukrainian orchestra in Kyiv, Pete Thorn graciously decided to donate his guitar in an effort to raise awareness and funds for SOA's ongoing mission in Ukraine. Save Our Allies is thankful for Pete's compassion and support for the Ukrainian people. The dreadnought style guitar was custom made by USA Custom Shop and includes a spruce top, mahogany back, sides, and neck, and rosewood fingerboard. It features an original LR Baggs pickup/mic/preamp system, which was favored by James Taylor and many others for its natural sound. It was used extensively by Pete Thorn and Chris Cornell on the 2009 Chris Cornell World Tour. Pete Thorn is a renowned guitarist who has played with Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge, Five For Fighting and many other artists during his illustrious career. Peter and Five For Fighting have been incredible supporters of Save Our Allies, and all funds raised will directly benefit the ongoing mission in Ukraine.
