Man I still can’t believe this is real. A month ago on September 26th 2022, I found out my Pops died. I still don’t even know what to say. This shit has been hard, to say the least. Losing my dad, who’s name I bear, who I called for advice constantly or to just chop it up and laugh, it’s just ... It still isn’t gettin easier. In this time I just try to remind myself that everything happens as it’s supposed to, to laugh at all the funny memories and be thankful that my Pops imparted enough wisdom in his time to help guide me to the man I am today. If you ever knew or even met my pops you knew he just wanted to enjoy life and make great memories. And get to the bag 🤣🤣. I know my pops energy still lives on through me, my lil brother Nikko and my lil sister Ava. But not having my best friend still in this physical space hurts. I got a quote that my Pops used to tell me all the time tatted for his birthday this year. And I’m glad he got to know at least a little bit of how much he’s impacted me while he was still here. Mr. 10x, Mr. St Patrick’s Day himself, “My nigga if you don’t get no bigger”, the crazy one who always wanted to make sure whoever was around was laughing, the OG Patrick Cage, hittin corners til the wheels fall off.
