@transhomesf is one of the largest trans led efforts in addressing homelessness and housing stability in the United States! Led by trans folks themselves, and supporting the broader Bay Area- the program features three initiatives: Immediate/Emergency Housing for trans folks who are houseless and need immediate, real time safety and shelter at the Taimon Boonton Navigation Center Transitional/Step Up Housing at the Our Trans Home- a mansion that has been repurposed to co-living for trans folks seeking or holding employment and/or enrolled in post secondary education and the Our Trans Home rental assistance program which provides up to 70% rent sponsorship for up to 18-24 months for individuals with employment seeking permanent and more affordable housing opportunities.
