The infamous LIGHTING POST 💡☀️ Now, I know we have seen these posts time and time again. However, I promise you will never have clients stop saying things like— when they got home in their bathroom their hair looked different.. in their car, at the store, in the living room, etc! This is NOO offense to clients, WE get it!! Hair looks different in ALL LIGHTING! These two photos were taken literally SECONDS apart, in the SAME pose, the SAME lighting and look how much it differs! So yes! Your hair will look different no matter where you go!! For clients: When you look at your hair in your bathroom, there isn’t typically light surrounding your whole head in a small room. You’re also closer to the walls in a small room, which can create darkness and shadows. This is why your hair always looks the lightest outside, or while driving in your car! Light is coming in at all angles! However, direct sun can make it appear warmer! When picking an inspo picture, keep in mind, your hair won’t always look as bright as the photo, or show as much dimension as that photo, depending where you are!
