Although I am a big pearl lover - many of my new followers may not be familiar with my long standing obsession with these precious little gems. I believe pearls to be a celebration of self-love that can instantly put a confident smile and a luminescent glow of delight on a woman’s face. For the past 13 years, I have been on a mission to prove that these unique sea jewels are not old-fashioned and should not be sitting inside some dusty jewellery box but proudly worn around our necks and ears. In fact, since launching @GEMOLOGUE.com - my aim has always been to raise awareness on pearls, change the perception about pearl jewellery designers and support worldwide pearl farmers in their mission to keep waters clean in order to produce breathtaking pearls. At my first visit to Bond Street’s Tasaki I had a very magical and jaw dropping encounter - this long statement pearl earrings from Tasaki Atelier by Prabal Gurung stole my heart and satisfied all my pearl cravings. Since its foundation in 1954, TASAKI has also supported the creation of beautiful pearls, operating pearl farms in the seas of Kujukushima at Nagasaki and Ise-Shima at Mie for Akoya Pearls, and in the Andaman Sea bordering the Indian Ocean for South Sea Pearls.
