A DIVINE OCTOPUS This Octopus dress, worn by Divine on UK tour in 1985, is one of the most captivating objects in the museum collection, according to our visitors. The ‘Godzilla of drag queens’ Divine is known for work with filmmaker John Waters and toured the UK in the 1980s performing disco and HI-NRG tracks on Top of the Pops and at Pride on a boat on the Thames. His final album was called Maid in England.
