Ralph Yarl mistakenly went to the wrong house in a Kansas City neighborhood last week to pick up his siblings. Ralph pulled up the driveway, rang the doorbell and the (white) man in the home opened the door and shot Ralph in the head. Ralph fell to the ground, and the man shot him again. Still conscious, Yarl ran for help, but he had to run to 3 different homes before someone came to his aid. Sadly, aid was only given after ordering Ralph to lie on the ground with his hands up. Ralph is currently hospitalized and fighting for his life. Police took the shooter in and let him go.
