I tend to go through a three step process these days, it’s listed below. 1. Run a playlist in the car and learn through repetitive listening and singing along. 2. Read the lyrics on paper without any music, to retain the structure of them in a visual sense. 3. Lying in bed and trying to speak them out with my eyes closed (the true test).
