We visited @transhomesf ‘s TAIMON BOONTON NAVIGATION CENTER, the only trans led and trans serving emergency housing resource in San Francisco. To honor the privacy of residents in the shelter, we toured the community gathering spaces inside the center with Navigation center staff- exploring the community kitchens and community living areas. Seeing the efforts truly led and informed by the lived experiences of trans people themselves is what made the space feel like a home, with safety and compassion.
