Since her debut Zoom set for club quarantine’s PC Music showcase last year, Goth Jafar has become a fixture in the nightlife of NYC’s reopening. Her distinctive mix of hardcore techno, pop, trance, ethereal, and hip hop melts ravers and club kids weekly at parties and clubs throughout NYC and the USA, with recent appearances at Anonymous (NYC), HEAV3N (LA), Fake and Gay (SF), and Art Kunt (Miami Art Basel). In New York, she performs regularly with DJs from the collective Club Carry, which organizes parties that center trans, BIPOC artists and audiences. Goth Jafar’s vocals were recently featured on Namasenda’s single “No Regrets” (PC Music, 2021). Her music writing has appeared in Dazed. Before Twitter deleted the account, Suffy had accumulated 29k followers under the handle @ArabThot, where she posted constantly about music.
