Far from feeling all is right in the world. This past week was spent mourning with loved ones over loss, managing stress and sadness over the division of our country and trying to encourage and empathize with friends who in some way or another have been going through it in massive, heartbreaking ways. I have always felt that one of the biggest things missing in the hearts of people today is empathy. People are hurting. People are alone. People are lost. People are desperate for love, tenderness, encouragement, and to be seen. The holidays can be so fun and magical but let’s also remember to sit with and slow down with those who might need it. Fight to be someone who is known to not just yell down from a ladder asking if someone is okay, but to climb down that ladder and to sit in the trenches with that person. I love you all and I pray YOU are seen and met with. ♥️ 32 weeks and emotional over the undeserved gift of every second I get to carry him. Thank you, Lord.
