Poets in the galleries ✍️ Last month we hosted the Oakland Youth Poet Laureate Program (@youthpoetlaureate) for an afternoon of performances, where poets read original pieces throughout our museum. With poems pulling from our exhibitions and the poets’ own experiences, these readings inspired us all and gave us hope for future generations.
