Six years ago these lovebirds got married on the windiest point next to the sea, and soon after took this picture (on the left) in a roadside photo booth in Florence. Now we somehow have a kid who, yesterday, upon being told that he would need to share the piece of homemade raspberry pie he was just gifted by my mom, with me, says —“but mom, this isn’t enough for Big Mama.” We produced a kid who knows me perfectly well and is perfectly honest. 😂 He knows I can never have enough sweetness. Life is ever and always one big laugh, one big cry, one big heavy burden, one big weightless joy, one big string of love that both comforts and confounds. 🤍🤍🤍
