🇮🇹 FLORENCE MINI TRAVEL GUIDE ✨ Save this for your next trip to Italy 😍 🏡 WHERE TO STAY: - The Duomo area: staying in the city center in Florence is great, it seems like you are living in an open air museum 😍 also, there are actually not expensive options there so I totally recommend for a first visit! - Santa Maria Novella: near the train station, a more residential area. - Santa Croce: best for nightlife ✨ - San Lorenzo / San Marco: best to stay on a budget! 🚶‍♀️HOW TO MOVE: Florence isn’t such a big city and the main attractions are concentrated in the city center! Therefore, you can easily walk there and it’s the best to do to fully explore the city and enjoy the vibe 😍 Plus, the train station is also in the city center which is great 🙌 🏛 TOP ATTRACTIONS: - Piazza Del Duomo / Santa Maria del Fiore - Ponte Vecchio - Piazza della Signoria - Palazzo Vecchio - Piazzale Michelangelo - Santa Maria Novella - Galleria degli Uffizi - Galleria dell’ Accademia - Palazzo Pitti - Boboli Gardens - Bardini Gardens - Piazza Santa Croce - Mercato Centrale 🍕 WHERE TO EAT: - La Prosciutteria (amazing Panini 🤤) - Panini Toscani - L’Antica Cantina Del Chianti - All’antico Vinaio - Caffe Notte Bistrot - Gustapizza 🍕 (best pizza!!) - Borderline Firenze - “La Carraia” for ice cream 🍦 (seriously the best one!) 🍸 BEST ROOFTOP BARS: - La Terrazza Rinascente - La Terrazza Sul Duomo - View on Art Rooftop - Angel Roofbar & Dining - The Student Hotel Terrazza 🌅 SUNSET: Piazzale Michelangelo is a must for the sunset, the colors are truly magical and there is usually live music there 😍 However it can get pretty crowded, and San Miniato Al Monte is also a great option (with a closer view to the city) 🧡 Unlike other big Italian cities, Florence doesn’t feel like an overwhelming/stressful place.
