Current shape (1+2), my genetic predisposition, prior to weight training (3 - highschool > early adulthood), and at my heaviest (4). To anyone who tries to downplay your hard work with 'you must have good genetics' πŸ–•πŸΌ. I've been training for 6+ years, only 2.5 of that with a coach, purposefully training and eating, with gain and cut phases. I've done this slower than some, with it just being a part of a balanced lifestyle for me, rather than prepping for a comp, etc. It's called hard work for a reason. But you choose your 'hard'! For me this is so important, and runs deeper than any aesthetic goals. But in the bodybuilding game the goal post always moves, so you have to stop occasionally and look at how far you've come. Although I'm a while off where I'd love to be, I'm already so much further than where I was a few years ago, and so is my physical and mental health. So don't forget to celebrate yourself and your hard work! Use it to persist. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼✨
