The objective of Team Rubicon’s #Ukraine Practical Trauma Training Program was to expand specialized medical capacity within the Ukrainian healthcare system and population as it relates to conflict and emergency medicine. Over two months, our seven-person mobile training team successfully delivered 64 trainings to 1,549 unique individuals, across 10 oblasts and in 16 cities. One medical student in Vinnytsia described the training he received as “crucial... not only for medical personnel but also for civilians to understand how they can save some one’s life.” While this program has concluded, Team Rubicon is still in country coordinating with the Ministry of Health and partners to prepare for the next phase of support to the people of Ukraine. #BuiltToServe
