I heard this quote the other day that stopped me in my tracks... It said: “One day someone will tell your kid they are just like their father. It’s up to you to make sure that’s not an insult.” That’s heavy... but it’s real! Whether we like it or not, our children are always watching. They’re studying how we handle pressure, how we treat their mother, how we speak to strangers, how we respond when life doesn’t go our way. They’re learning from what we say, but even more from what we do! Being a father isn’t just about providing. It’s about modeling. It’s about showing our kids what accountability looks like, What love looks like, What respect looks like, What resilience looks like. Because long after they outgrow our laps...They will carry our example! So Let’s be the kind of fathers where “just like your dad” is one of the greatest compliments our children could ever receive!
