In 2020, @regejean starred as Simon Basset in royal dramedy #Bridgerton, which generated a lot of conversation for its decidedly unstuffy tone and its diverse cast. While we swooned over the romance of the show, Page played his character with a more vulnerable, open portrayal of masculinity than we’re used to seeing onscreen—further warming our hearts. Masculinity is something Page is interested in exploring in his future work.
“People think of masculinity and they think of strength, but we need to redefine what strength means. Is it an unwillingness to bend, or is there strength in vulnerability, in being able to listen and adapt?" Page asks.
