Rachel is one of four individuals we profiled in the @seasoneqpt short film titled “Hello Winter” directed by @robhauer with @pe.class Rachel is one of the most talented, kind, humble, and interesting people I know. She works as a firefighter, but we chose to zero in on one of her many talents; welding. Shot entirely on @kodak_shootfilm film, it’s a piece for @seasoneqpt that aims to highlight four unique individuals in the Mt. Hood, Oregon community. We focused on the tools these individuals use both on hill and off hill, and their way of sliding down hills. It’s individuals like Rachel that have inspired @austinbsmith and myself to start the company @seasoneqpt . The idea of creating a brand that focuses on everyday individuals who represent the full spectrum of snowboarders and skiers is the original sentiment and focus of @seasoneqpt. This short film was a two year adventure. Meeting new people, making friends, returning to 16mm film, introducing @robhauer to Mt. Hood, and learning a lot about cinematography from Rob along the way. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to this film.
