Holidays are for relaxing...
I mean, who wants to workout?😒
Picture this for a second:
You spend most of your days lounging around the pool catching rays 🌞
You eat ice cream and drink cocktails all day
Every meal time you go up for 3 plates of all inclusive buffet food because you just must try everything...
You do this for a week or two
And when the holiday is over and you land back at home...
You feel regret.
Your clothes don’t fit as well as they did
And now that you’re back to reality you feel like you’ve got an uphill battle to climb to start feeling energised and confident again
The memories of your epic holiday are now tarnished by your feelings of guilt
Is it not worth avoiding that?
Sure -
The last thing you want to do when you’re on holiday is spend hours in the gym
But you also don’t want to reverse all of your prior hard work
Personally I think a middle ground approach works best -
If you want to maintain your results AND enjoy a little more flexibility with food on holiday
Then you should be keeping your activity levels nice and high (gym, steps, cardio, any holiday sports to get involved in etc)
This will help with having some more flexibility with food (in moderation)
And you don’t need loads of equipment to have a good workout 🤷♀️
Keep it simple
Get in, get out and enjoy the rest of your day 😎
