Let's make a refreshing Classic Laddie cocktail with @bruichladdich highlighting some of my favorite summer ingredients! Scotch is traditionally viewed as a cold weather drink but I think the vanilla and stone fruit notes in The Classic Laddie play perfectly in bright summer cocktails. For this recipe I combined pineapple, lemongrass and chamomile, that pair perfectly with the sweet honey notes of The Classic Laddie. Laddie On Holiday 1.5oz @bruichladdich The Classic Laddie .75oz Fresh Pineapple Juice .75oz Fresh Lime Juice .5oz Lemongrass Turbinado Syrup .5oz Herbal Chamomile Liqueur 2 drops of saline Garnish: Lemongrass, Dehydrated Pineapple & Dried Chamomile Lemongrass Turbinado Syrup 1. 200 grams of hot water 2. 200 grams of Turbinado Sugar 3. Stir until sugar has dissolved 4. Chop 2 lemongrass stems 5. Add syrup and lemongrass to pan 6. Simmer for 15 minutes 7.
